- Legal Liability & Risk Management: is the process of forcasting and evaluating risks of your profession and identifying procedures to avoid and decrease their risk. By holding proper insurance, understanding what we as physical therapists are legally liable for and holding true to the standards and ethics under which we must operate, we can insure that we are not negligent and harm people when we want to desire them.
Ethical Decision Making
Our Ethics are guided by APTA standards for Physical Therapists. We are also guided by our spiritual belief that we are all connected and sharing love and healing is the reason we are here. We strive to empower people to love and cherish their bodies and move with ease and confidence.
The maxwell leader ship bible uses this example from (Matthew 6:19-24) on page 1186 "Prioritize eternal things, not temporal things" to me this means to think about the end and what really matters in each situation, and even if you are in a rush to still prioritize our clients health over everything else.
